- ➤ Osceola County parents with school-aged children must complete a survey by Dec. 12 to choose one of three start time options for the 2026/2027 year as the district plans changes to meet Senate Bill 296—middle schoolers cannot start before 8 a.m. and high schoolers before 8:30 a.m. School board members will vote on the proposals in early 2026, with each option carrying different costs for bus routes and staffing.
