On Oct. 20 the Osceola Response Team told city commissioners it is turning away donations because it lacks storage and funding after serving about 1,160 people last month at 1000 Mann Street; its leader said he hopes for city, St. Cloud, and county funding and nonprofit partnerships to expand.

Kamilla da Escossia Campello Ronchi, 41, underwent Central Florida's first robotic double mastectomy after genetic tests showed a high breast cancer risk (AdventHealth); surgeons say the robot lets them use smaller incisions and may help preserve sensation while removing and reconstructing breast tissue (Dr. Devina McCray).

St. Cloud senior defensive end Jude Crockcroft recorded three tackles for loss and two sacks to help the Bulldogs secure a 14 to 7 win over rival Harmony (he was named Positively Osceola’s Osceola Air Player of the Week).
