Good morning, Kissimmee.

Osceola County Food Friends is collecting food for over 3,000 students facing homelessness and hunger — it will host a yard sale today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3211 Lorimar Lane in St. Cloud to raise funds for school meals.

The Osceola Sheriff's Office introduced Echo — a 9-week-old chocolate Lagotto Romagnolo who will live with 911 dispatchers to provide support and comfort — as part of its effort to help manage rising call volumes amid growing community needs.

Today, the Kissimmee Fire Department activated a new Fire Station Alerting system FSA that sends alerts instantly by computer dispatch — helping crews respond faster and increasing firefighter safety.

The system uses LED lights and text-to-speech to deliver emergency details in seconds.
