- ➤ On Saturday, the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce honored local businesses and community leaders at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center—presented by Orlando Health St. Cloud that drew nearly 200 guests and featured magician Dan Stapleton. - ➤ Firefighters in Kissimmee now use the Phoenix G2 alerting system to dispatch calls faster with text-to-speech alerts and LED displays showing real-time call details—cutting response times for emergencies. City officials will build two new fire stations in areas with longer delays over the next five years—improving response times further. WESH
- ➤ The Central Florida Expressway Authority is set to review the Southport Connector project that will build a 15-mile expressway linking Poinciana Parkway to the Florida Turnpike, with the board meeting on Dec. 11.
