- ➤ Valencia College and the Florida Blue Foundation launched the V-Centials food market at its Osceola Campus today to offer free healthy food and hygiene items to students facing rising costs and other challenges. The partners also announced $3 million in grants to be shared among eight nonprofits statewide, including two in Central Florida. WFTV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Osceola County is harvesting invasive vegetation from Lake Toho to clear about 160 acres and improve water quality, reduce flooding, and help native wildlife. The $2.2 million project is being completed in phases — the first phase is underway and set to finish by year-end while it is funded by both state and county sources. ClickOrlando
