- ➤ A 27-year-old Kissimmee resident died when she was struck by a car on US-192 near Westside Boulevard shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday — the driver, a 45-year-old from Clermont, swerved to avoid a collision and was not injured. WFTV

- ➤ Joao Marcelo Mendes Minillo was indicted on a felony arson charge for setting fire to a CVS in Osceola County on April 17, which sent one person to the hospital and injured two others — surveillance footage and physical evidence linked him to the incident. WESH
