- ➤ Robin Severance Lopez, the estranged wife of suspended Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez, was released on a $400,000 bond after two weeks in protective custody on charges of conspiracy to use or invest proceeds from racketeering linked to an alleged illegal gambling operation, and her attorney said she is now preparing for a lengthy legal fight. - ➤ City officials said Kissimmee is growing its economy with new projects and investments, including a Hyatt Studios hotel that broke ground Monday at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport — for flight students and travelers — as part of its Ready, Connected and Open for Business strategy.
