- ➤ On July 4th, Osceola deputies said that Mitchell Platt, 37, who is accused of breaking into a woman's home on Deer Run Road, was shot in the leg by the homeowner’s son after the suspect came out and rushed at him—Platt now faces charges for burglary and possession of burglary tools and is held on no bond.
