- ➤ Starting July 1, Florida lawmakers will require teen drivers to complete a six-hour state-approved driver education traffic safety course instead of the old four-hour course. Teen drivers must hold a learner’s permit for at least one year or until they turn 18—an effort officials say will help keep new drivers safer. Spectrum News 13

- ➤ Special Olympics Florida athletes gathered in Lake Nona on Saturday, June 21st for a high-energy training camp to prepare for the 2026 USA Games. The event, held at the Aloft Orlando Lake Nona hotel and various venues in Orlando and Kissimmee, featured sport-specific practices and the unveiling of Team Florida’s official uniforms — with the final team roster to be announced this summer. - ➤ FC Cincinnati beat Orlando City 2-1 at Inter—Co Stadium on Saturday night—Evander scored twice with a free kick in stoppage time and a counterattack goal, while Marco Pasalic netted in the 87th minute.
