Conservation Florida and Sea + Shoreline planted 250,000 native eelgrass plants along East Lake Toho's northwest shoreline in late 2025 as part of a 50-acre habitat restoration to boost water quality and wildlife.
The area is monitored monthly and maintenance continues through 2026.
