  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced a reorganization in Central Florida that creates a new stake in St. Cloud covering congregations in Narcoossee, Canoe Creek, Hickory Tree Branch, St. Cloud, Ellsworth, Kissimmee and Pleasant Hill — and named retired fire chief Warren L. James as stake president. The reorganization also formed the Citrus Ridge Stake and renamed the Orlando West Stake to Winter Garden Stake — changes aimed at better supporting the region's growing membership.  Positively Osceola

  • Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 34 unveils a new Fallout-themed haunted house based on the hit Prime Video series and will run from August 29 to November 2 on 48 select nights—offering premium add-ons like VIP access for local horror fans.   • Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2023 took place May 22-26 at venues including the Osceola County School for the Arts and Silver Spurs Arena — the school board also approved the 2024-25 academic calendar with key dates from Aug. 12 to May 30.
