- ➤ At the St. Cloud City Council meeting on Thursday, Will Hawthorne from Central Florida Expressway Authority shared plans for over 50 miles of toll road projects in Osceola County, including a Poinciana Parkway extension and studies for new connectors. The council also approved an ordinance to ban high-speed motorized devices on trails and marked plans for the Heritage at Cross Prairie development and a new ABC Fine Wine and Spirits store near a school. - ➤ OUC opened its largest solar energy center at Harmony II and Storey Bend on 600-acre sites along Nova Road east of St. Cloud, doubling its solar capacity to 271.5 megawatts to power about 50,000 typical homes under a 20-year power purchase agreement signed with AdventHealth and Comcast NBCUniversal.
