- ➤ Florida Governor Ron DeSantis held a news conference in Kissimmee Monday morning at 10 a.m.—he was joined by Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Jared Perdue and the address was streamed on WESH 2. WESH
- ➤ State Attorney Monique Worrell and Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier clashed over a 13,000-case backlog in Orange and Osceola counties, with Worrell alleging a politically motivated attack and Uthmeier offering extra prosecutors+support staff to clear the backlog. Worrell said her office struggles with outdated policies as a meeting is set today with Statewide Prosecutor Nick Cox to address police case requirements. WESH
