Good morning, Kissimmee.

At Tuesday's Osceola County School Board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Mark Shanoff reported a record 91.1% graduation rate for the 2024-2025 school year at local district schools, noting key improvements among various student groups and a rising trend in college enrollment due to the Osceola Prosper program.

Osceola County has launched a year-long America 250 celebration, starting with a patriotic transformation of the Historic Courthouse in downtown Kissimmee adorned with red, white, and blue bunting plus energy-efficient LED lighting; a Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 6 in the courthouse's third-floor courtroom with more events to follow.
