  • Osceola County is recruiting volunteers to staff cold-weather shelters (in Kissimmee and St. Cloud) as temperatures are expected to drop dangerously low overnight and into this weekend. Details for locations and contact information are available in the call for help.  WESH

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A cold front will bring scattered rain, strong winds and possible Gulf effect snow flurries to Central Florida on Saturday, with record low temperatures expected by Sunday and Monday, officials said. The FOX 35 Storm Team advises caution as air chills drop into the teens.  FOX 35 Orlando

SPORTS NEWS

  • Celebration Storm won its first girls district soccer title by defeating Harmony Longhorns in a shootout on Tuesday night after a 1-1 tie went into overtime with a 4-2 penalty-kick win at the Harmony field. The win sets them up for next week’s Region 2 Tournament.  Positively Osceola
